The Grand Lycée Franco-Libanais (GLFL), is a French lycée in the Achrafieh district of Beirut founded in 1909 by the Mission Laïque Française. The GLFL invited Keeward in September 2014 to set up a series of workshops with the teaching staff. Like many other educational institutions in Lebanon, the GLFL faces the challenges of Web usage among the new generations. Bullying, harmful behavior, addiction are among the various difficult situations experienced by both students and parents.
To tackle these issues, the GLFL asked Keeward to organize workshops and trainings with the teaching staff. 4 workshops were set up between September and December 2014. A final conference with the parents was organized to present the results and raise awareness.
This unique and original experience was beneficial for both sides. Listening to the realities of everyday lives with the Web in a school was very informative and helped us create better and safer online experiences for our products and services.
